Hands-Free Photography: The Phone Mount Every Hand Model (or Actor) Needs

Updated: May 25, 2023

As a hand model, getting the perfect shot of my hands is crucial for audition submissions. However, it can be challenging to hold the phone and take a photo of your own hand and I hate to keep bugging my poor neighbor to come take another photo of my hands. That's where the OctoBuddy phone mount comes in, specifically the one I've been using for the past few months.

This phone mount has been a lifesaver for me. It easily attaches to the back of my phone and allows me to stick it to any surface, such as a window or mirror. With my phone secured in place, I can then position my hand in front of a white poster board or any other backdrop and take a clear, focused photo without worrying about holding the phone steady.

It's made of durable materials and has held up well after multiple uses.

Overall, I highly recommend the OctoBuddy to any hand model or anyone who needs to take photos of their hands or the rest of them. It's a small investment that can make a big difference in the quality of your photos and the ease of taking them.
